91% Of All Attacks Attributable to Spear Phishing … Infograph by ProofPoint

I just received an email from Proofpoint, and its another one of their great Infographs. This is a great Infograph re-enforcing the fact that it only takes a single breach for the cost to be significant. Not surprisingly the information shows that 91% of All Attacks have some form of phishing attribution, and 95% of Cyber Espionage attacks started with a phishing email.

Anyway less typing from me, and more beautiful Infograph viewing, you can read more on this from ProofPoint.

    1. Just to be clear: “Spear phishing” is an email that appears to be from an individual or business that you know. But it isn’t. It’s from the same criminal hackers who want your credit card and bank account numbers, passwords, and the financial information on your PC.
